    Hey girls,

So as my bump is getting bigger, maternity clothes shopping is even harder as the rest of me is still size 6! New mummy thank you for your tip - unfortunately this doesn't work for me because non-maternity size 6 or 8 clothes are too big on my shoulders, arms, legs etc - the parts of the body that don't change in pregnancy.

I thought I'd share the things that have worked for me, for other girls in my position:
    • J Brand maternity jeggings in size 24 (best fit I've found)
    • Gap maternity tops in size XS - ordered these from the US and they were so cheap. $8 jumpers for winter! A bit big around the armpits but my mum will take them in
    • Pea in a Pod - two of their size 6 dresses fitted me. Loads of their other size 6 clothes were too big, but they are worth trying.

Default Maternity clothes for xs size 6 ladies? I can't find anything that fits, help!

I'm a size 8. I've been living in casual elastic waist pants (Jump brand) and the longer singlet tops from Dotti (which were down to $5 and Xmas time). I have a couple of maxi dresses too.

I haven't seen any nice maternity clothes i would even consider buying and now 28wks I don't think I will.

    Good luck!

I am not tiny like you but have often seen a normal size 6 in Kmart? Maybe they will have some things that will fit?

I am a size 6 and had this problem as well. I ended up getting pants with the yoga pant style fold over waistband and then just normal clothes in stretchy fabric. I also wore supre singlets under everything and they just stretched. I usually get xxs but changed to xs and they were fine. Have you tried getting the button extenders for your pants? Then you could just wear your normal pants with a long stretchy top?

You can make your own button expander. Grab a wide piece of elastic. Sew a button to 1 end and snip a little whole at the right place for your pants button.
