Hi i just found out I'm having twins. Little freaked out yet excited. I'm at seven weeks these r my first children. Hoping as the weeks go by people can help with advice, I have had no real morning sickness thankfully.

Hi Leas, congratulations!! I'm on my first children too with twins and it's so daunting but incredibly exciting! I'm nearly 9 weeks now. Have you had a scan and seen the heartbeats?

    Default Newly pregnant with twins....questions!

Yes, it's very confronting isn't it? It took me a good month to settle in to the fact, now I'm busting for them to come along!! Exciting!!

Have had my ultrasound and seen the heart beats very exciting. Already on insulin though which sucks big time but of course would do anything for healthy babies

Ah right that must be annoying sometimes I had gestational diabetes with ds2 so probably will get again. Are you going to do The 12 week scan?

Hi Guys, So glad that I finally found a forum that focuses on Twin Pregnancies. I am 15 wks 3 days pregnant with twins. My symptoms was extreme exhaustion that I just put down to stress but found out that we are expecting twins at the 13 week scan (which was my first scan).

I also found out after we were pregnant that twins are genetic in my family but the last two generations only 1 of the twins survived in each pregnancy.

Congratulations to all that have conceived twins. It is a gift and a challenge at the same time.

More likely Fraternal Twins due 26th June '13

Hi Brea, congratulations!! What a surprise it must've been at 13 weeks! I'm hitting the tiredness a lot now (nearly 11 weeks). Everything feels like too much effort at the moment. I don't know how people with other children manage. It must take a super human effort to keep going.
