Default Does anybody drive a hybrid?

Just wondering if anyone has any experience with hybrid cars? Are they reliable? Do they cost a lot to service? Cheap to run? Anything else you want to share about them?

Ive got a 2010 Toyato Camry Hybrid and LOVE it! Its by far the best car i have ever owned.
Its extremely reliable, it hasnt skipped a beat since we bought it 6 months ago.
Services arent anymore expensive than normal though the battery will be about $2000 to $3000 when it needs replacing (every 8 years or so i think). Though it will probably be cheaper than that when the time comes as more people will have them.
Its awesome on petrol. Its about 900km to a tank.
The only slight downfall is the boot space, it isnt huge due to hybrids having 2 batteries and one of them is in the boot. Though it still fits my pram and groceries nicely.
All in all i love my hybrid!

I just got and I love it! So cheap to run. It has capped servicing so no more expensive to service than any other Toyota. They have 0% finance too. Feels great to drive!

Agree with PP, smaller boot due to battery but still very ample. I'm getting at least 1000km to the tank. My only wish was that I'd upgraded and got the better model with leather seats.

Oh great, I hope we can get one in the next 18 months or so. I notice that the prius has a wagon now, but the camry looks a bit nicer.
