    Default C25K success stories?

How often did you do the program? Is it every other day or should I be spacing it out more/less? Also, were you doing any other exercise?

You're only supposed to do it 3 times a week. I love it, and I love pushing past barriers I previously thought were unobtainable.

I think through the app there is more info, maybe even a forum..I can't remember..I downloaded it a while ago. I'm starting this week..tore my shoulder and then broke my hand so had to have a rest. It's great..even though last time I only got up to week 6, but definitely a great program.

There's is loads of info about it online, I first did it about 5/6 years ago when it was just a podcast. It's great! I had never even run for a bus before then and now I am a keen runner. Have just started back up training after having my baby and will be doing a half marathon in may.

Keep at it - repeat weeks as often as you need, there is no rush! Patience and persistence is my workout motto.

    Default C25K success stories?

Stupid question - how does is calculate distance when the run/walk component is listed in minutes? How does it know how fast/slow you are running/walking?

Eg I can 'jog' 2.5kms straight but couldn't 'run' 2.5kms straight. I need to pace myself.

    Default C25K success stories?

Lol it doesn't - I guess it really isn't titled all that well. It would be better if it was called "Couch to running for 25 minutes straight" but I guess it doesn't have the same ring to it

I use an app called Runkeeper which tracks running/walk and records distance and pace. I use the free version and it's great so maybe just use that if you are already comfortable jogging a distance and work on your pace?
