    Default Gender scan uncertainty

I had an elective ultrasound (16 weeks) the cord was between the legs, after a cold drink and a belly massage the baby moved and we got a view of three lines. The lady Said she doesn't want to guarantee anything at 16 weeks as the baby is still small, but it looked like a girl. She also said that sometimes when the cord is between the legs it can push a little boys willy down and make it flat like a girl. So it needed to be confirmed at a later age.

I however have a massive gut feeling it is a girl. What do you think my
Chances are of this being right?

You could try another scan at 18 weeks or wait until the 20 week scan to confirm. I had a scan at 18 weeks and was told boy, it was confirmed at the 20 week scan.

A second opinion should set your mind at ease.

    Default Gender scan uncertainty

Even at 19 weeks I was told she couldn't be 100% so I went and had a 3D scan at 23 weeks and was Yold Definately a girl and she showed me all the girl parts. I found at the medical scan they arnt as specific but at a 3D where it's more for your entertainment they spent more time to prove to me it was a girl.
