Default Ouch!! Why does my tailbone keep hurting me???

    Rhetorical question.
I work in an office at my desk all day. I'm a lawyer so i can pace around my office to work, but what does everyone do for tailbone pain??
By lunchtime i can barely manage to sit down anymore, and when i stand up, i make old-man noises.

I had this problem before and after te birth of my first son and it was excruitating. I guess a lot of hot showers, muscular manipulation by a osteopath and time made it go away.
At work I would massage my tailbone with my hand. I also recommend one of those good quality massage things you put onto your seat and attach to into PowerPoint. Not sure exactly what they are, but a good quality one is well worth it and adds some relief to your muscles

Hi Brinn! I'm a lawyer too and had very bad tailbone pain by week nine from all the long hours of sitting! By week 17 I realised that my tailbone pain was radiating into my leg and by week 21 I was diagnosed with sciatica unfortunately you can't do much with tailbone pain especially when you're pregnant. I'm currently 24 weeks and have been going to physio and have found it very relieving. I strongly recommend that you give it a try! All the best!
