My DS is the same, 16months and 9kg, we are aiming bigtime for 10kg by 2 but he is just way to active!

My DS is like your son. He finally cracked the 10k and he is nearly 2 1/2. And way too active.

This makes me feel better DS was born 3.58kg and at 18 months his only 9.5kg. He eats as much as me but is so busy and constantly on the move that he burns it straight off.
