Default Mobile phone dropped in water

My daughter dropped my iPhone in the toilet. It wouldn't switch on that night but did the next day and was still good

Sometimes you have to change the rice each day for a few days because the rice absorbs the moisture and reaches a point where it can no longer absorb water so maybe try it again overnight :-)

Do you have insurance on it? I have the galaxy 3 and havent dropped it in water but i will never go without insurance now after smashing my HTC one screen less than 4mths of having it.

Insurance is so not worth it! I had it on my galaxy i dropped in the toilet. I still had to pay the $150 excess plus $130 to get the galaxy 2.
It took 2 weeks to determine the phone irrepairable and another 2 weeks to send the new phone to my local optus store.
In reality i would have been better off buying a cheap phone to see out the rest of my plan.

Dropped my iPhone in the toilet. DH left it in a bag of rice for a weekend and it was fine :-)
