Default Mobile phone dropped in water

Dropped mine in the toilet. Rice worked, needed to dry properly before use

Default Mobile phone dropped in water

I'm typing this on an iPhone dropped into a metre deep slimy pond. In a sealed container full of rice for 2 days worked. Mine never did actually stop working though. Did the rice as a precaution. Works fine but thinks its plugged into a dock now so doesn't play music unless thru dock or headphones.

My s2 wasnt dropped in water but apparently has "water damage" No luck here either. And as it has been weeks since it stopped working, rice wouldnt help it.

Yes actually Ice and water. We were on a road trip and I fell asleep when I woke up I wondered where it was. Somehow it was in there.
