Default this was my morning from hell...

I had days like this! They happened to me with ds2 & 3 literally the day before they were born! I had my holy cr@p moment then labour hit....

Good luck! Everyone has crappy days, doesn't mean you won't cope. I think you handled it well! I probably would have yelled like a banshee when we got in the car... How productive would that be!

Oh wow! im blown away by such kind replies. Thankyou all so much.
I have had a good hard cry - infact i made myself cry, i wanted it all out then and there. I thought of rediculous things that would make me cry even more (weirdo much??) and i just let it rip. Head in pillow screams and all! I havent cried in so long. Boy, i needed a good hard cry. My face was so puffy, so i jumped in for a quick cool shower...and cried a little more. Hopefully its all out of my system!
I feel ok now. That i can face DD when she wakes and put the morning behind us, at least. I just hope she wakes up feeling better too and we an have a nice quiet arvo.
Thankyou again for reading. I really appreciate the support today xxxx

Wow. All those thoughts are the exact same ones I was having only a few weeks ago.

I felt the same way. And I have a 7 year old and a 1 year old and I had my DD only 12 days ago, and when I was heavily pregnant I just had no idea how I was going to cope! I cried a lot toward the end.
I think it's just the pregnancy, because after your beautiful baby is born those feelings disappear, at least till the baby blues hit anyway!

Just keep In mind that most of the people who were staring etc probably weren't judging or thinking anything bad but were thinking of how well you were dealing with it and/or how they have been there and done that.

Oh gosh hun what an awful morning!! Glad you're feeling better now x

I'm also a mum of 3 under 6 and can tell you I have been there over and over again haha! I dnt think there is much more you couldve done lovely! Sometimes toddlers just decide to melt down at the worst times arghh! If you find a better way to handle it please tell me If I were there I wouldve offered to help you! Gosh the stares really don't help do they! You'd thinj the public would have more empathy, they can be so judgemental!

Once when I was pg to no#2 My toddler decided to crack a spack attack in the shops and go stiff like a board when I put him in the pram!! He was red in the face with rage and stayed like a plank of wood half way home!! 3k walk! Me and DH were actually kind of impressed with his core strength to hold that long

It is hard! It is embarrassing and humiliating but I promise the toddler phase does pass! It gets easier! Glad you feel better now hun xxxx

I know that feeling oh too well, I only have 1 child but we are trying for another and I often have those days where I think I can't even handle the one I've got why the bloody hell do I want another! Don't be so hard on yourself, I hope your feeling a little better now, when your DP gets home ask him to occupy your dd for half hour and do something for you, often if I've had a rough day dp will take our daughter into the backyard and play with her so I can put my feet up And watch Telly in piece for 30 mins. I always feel so much calmer, relaxed and happy afterwards! Sending you big hugs op!
