Question Pro's & Con's of the new KIA Grand Carnival?

    Hi all,

We are expecting bub number 3 and are having to upgrade our car. We currently have a 2010 Subaru Forester but it is far to small for our growing family.

Yesterday we went to our closest city and looked at a few options. The price of the Grand Carnival was very attractive and found it to be big inside, with plenty of options, comfort and boot space. There were many things we both liked about it. However I am not such a "van" fan but am thinking practicality above all else. I liked the 5 star car rating and 5 year warranty etc.

    My questions are:

    1. What is it like on fuel, good or bad and why?
    2. Can you trust them to get a decent amount of km's out of them?
    3. Are they nice on the highway?
    4. Any PRO'S or CON'S.
    5. If you looked at this car and then chose something else, why and what car? (if you don't mind me asking)

We have looked at a few others but we are stearing away for SUV's now as we kind of need as much room as possible without going HUGE! We often carry luggage, 5 passangers and sometimes need to carry 7+ people, when family visit.

I would never have thought much of a KIA tbh but after yesterday I was extremely impressed, but after some more info before purchasing.

    Thank you all in advance.

If its the new model, I have heard nothing but good things about it.

The carsguide review on it is good too.

We just bought a brand new My13 Kia Grand Carnival PLATINUM addition.. I cna't RAVE about it enough. It has electronic doors that is sooo handy and having the bucket seats and all individual is GREAT. The only down is that it is not the greatest on fuel although not to much difference to our tarago. The power in it is INCREDIBLE.. we just love ours.. if you have more questions just let me know I am happy to answer.

Oh yeah and the LEATHER interior is GREAT when it comes to the kids.. just wipes clean!!
