Default Re: If you had to choose one, which would you choose?

For DD we had a lot of trouble agreeing on names but finally got it down to 3. One that I loved, one he loved and one we were both happy with. There were others that either of us loved but the other hated they got ditched completely.
We decided to wait until DD was born to see what name suited her and the minute i held her in my arms i turned to DH and said 'his' name. I knew it was perfect for her and as much as i still love 'my' name it would not suit her at all. Still 5 years on and never feel like I missed out, just feel like DD got the right name for her.

Ladies thank you SO much for all of your input.
Loco I don't think showing DH this thread will make a difference in the world

Stretched I think you hit the nail on the head! Thank you for your suggestion. I am going to suggest to DH that we go in there with our name each and one that we both agree upon and wait until she is born to see her. I am hoping the answer will be clear when we take one look at her

I'll come back to update in 22 weeks

DH is simply not interested in another name. If he can't have Celeste he told me I could pick whatever I wish but I don't want it to be that way
I want us to both find a name we love.
That is emotional blackmail! Don't give in to this man. If he isn't willing to discuss options, then go with Lola.

FirstTimeMummy2012, what gorgeous names! I adore Lola and think that Celeste is stunning. But if I had to choose, ... Lola
