I am planning to work up to 36 weeks also. My FS said as my first baby was over 2 weeks late, this one probably will be too (oh no!) so think that's plenty of time to get things sorted at home. I am going to keep DS in childcare for 2-3 days a week so me and bub get time together and get to sleep when he does!!! Also to stop DS getting bored being stuck at home! I am quite worried how I will cope when DS wakes up at 6am ready to start the day and I have been up half the night feeding bub. The first time around I could just go back to sleep when he did. Not this time!!!

My mum will be coming over from the UK two weeks before my due date (just in case he is early!) and she will look after DS while we are in hospital. We're flying home to the UK 6 weeks after my due date for a visit, arghh!

I have told my mom she surprised me a little she didn't judge but was really taken back by the fact it's twins as to be expected so now she has already started planning when an where I will stay for the first few weeks after the babies are born she also said that when she was pregnant with my oldest sister she had a dream about her having 2 boys and a set of twin girls but she didn't have any boys or twins so it's a little freaky that to a certain level she predicted my future before I was even a thought in her mind!!! So freaky

Thanks for the input. I think I'll stick with my plan to work til 37 weeks, at this stage, and see what happens when it gets closer.

Nila, that's great about your mum. At least she seems to be being supportive

I really think you have to play it a bit by ear re: when to stop work. It depends on how big you get, how you are carrying (eg. low or more compact), how tired you are, and whether you have "pregnancy brain"!

My mum told my grandparents a few weeks ago about Rhino. I got a Christmas card from them today and thought surely they would say something (they haven't called or anything since finding out) but no no comment at all, its as if nothing is different. Makes me a little sad

Im going to play it by ear a bit with work because being a midwife i can easily go 8 hours without sitting down and that is not a joke! so at this point 32-34 weeks i think, but we'll see!
