It's my sons 4th birthday today and guess where I am...I am at the hospital with major bleeding with just time to waist!! The doctors and nurses have been awesome but when I can do is wait and see if the blood stops!! For now it's all looking ok the babies still have hbs and my cervix is closed but I am on complete bed rest!
I hope everyones Thursday was better!!
Oh Nila u poor thing! How can they expect bed rest when u have little kiddies to run after!! I hope it clears soon and they find a reason for the extra bleeding!

Thanks Eko it was so scary. It's stopped now, hopefully for good!

Lil smurfy I'm so sorry to hear that. What a horrible thing to happen

Nila how scary! I'm glad your bubs are ok though. Hopefully the bleeding eases up soon for you. And make sure you rest

Choccie you also must have an anterior placenta maybe? I also have one and a few others in here. I think they would have mentioned it in an ultrasound though. Maybe it's just a pulse.

Nila, I hope your bleeding stops soon. Hopefully you can manage to rest.

Choccie, I've always had that heartbeat near my belly button, even when not pregnant.

Choccie I have that realyl strong pulse below my belly button but only since I've been pregnant. I have an anterior placenta like FelH mentioned so maybe that's what causes it to be so strong?

Nila, so sorry to hear of your bleeding but so glad that both bubs are ok

Ok I really need J37's expertise so when you read this J, I hope you can answer for me as I don't want to waste a trip to the GP or OB.

I have some pretty bad palpatations and breathlessness happening today (on and off) and I'm pretty sure it's pregnancy related but just hoping you can reassure me? I also feel terribly nauseaous as I feel like my lungs and stomach are up around my throat! Plenty of kicking from bubs this morning so I know she's ok thank goodness!

Lil smurfy I am so sorry. That's horrible. Hugs to you.

Felh glad the bleeding has stopped. Fingers crossed it stays away.

Nila that's horrible you poor thing. I'm glad you are finding the hospital good and fingers crossed it
Stops. I hope ur able to celebrate with ur son another day.

Ftm are u home and relaxing? The palpitations bit worries me, but I'm not a doctor. I would go and get it checked out or call your ob. Actually I would just call my ob. He is really lovely and always says any worries no matter how small Please call. So I would call his offices and talk to them.

Eko so glad u don't have gd especially given how much you were drinking. And that's so lovely that your friend gave you heaps. We have been given so much stuff I feel so lucky. Not sure my mil thinks second hand is Ok, but i don't think she has any idea how expensive things are these days. We will be effectively losing lots of income so I am trying to use things that are passed on or we can pick up second hand. Things like car seat
And pram we will probably buy new to check they meet safety standards but things like swings and clothes we have been given second hand and I will use them.

Choccie I also have pain in my hips especially at night I am finding walking twice a day is helping and am booked to see the physio to start some Pilates as that is also meant to help.

Can't remember who I have missed but am on my phone. Will try to reply more later.

    :-)

I wish I was at home relaxing! I'm actually at work but thankfully it's all gone now I had a read online about a technique where you hold your breath and push down like you're going to the toilet to have a bowel momevent and it's supposed to snap your heart back into rhythm or something like that! Well it worked!

Lil Smurfy, I am so sorry to hear of the loss of your grandfather and dog. Take care of yourself xx
Chocciequeen, I dont envy the pain you are feeling atm. Fx its "just a phase" and goes soon.
Eko, cant wait to see what you think of the pillow as I am thinking very seriously of getting on for myself.
FTM, glad the palpatations have subsided, that doesnt sound right and would still be asking gp about them when you see them next.
J, Oscars a lil cutie. Good luck with your scan cant wait to hear what you are having.
Felh, glad the bleeding has stopped, I couldnt imagine having so many scares as you have had. It must be so stressful.
Nila, I am thinking about you and am glad your little bubbas are safe. Hope everuthing sorts itself out soon.
Calico, heres hoping you can get to sleep soon. Have you tried putting some lavender essence on your pillow or in your room. Its supposed to relax you. Hope something works for you soon. I am sure every1 is telling you thats its your bodies way of getting ready for when baby comes. doesnt help hehe.

Hi Bond girl, MissX, Missfaery, Sage and anyone else I have missed HI.I started out so well with personals hehe.
AFM my 12w scan is on the 30th and I cant wait. Still enjoying normality in the way of MS yay. So happy. I am still exhausted so glad I still have symptoms.
Hoping every1s week improves. Ladies having no.2 how far along till your started showing this time?? Now that the bloating has gone I think it wont be to long till I start showing Look forward to hearing more updates soon.

Does the placenta move or is it in a fixed position after x amount of weeks?
