That's good that things look good, shame you have to wait 2 weeks to see bub. How far along did you think you were?

From my LMP I was at 7w6d, but knew I ovulated later as I always do - so I am not surprised, but a little bummed. I would have announced at a friend's hens - but now I'll be too early and she'll guess if I am not drinking!

Just pretend you are drinking. Order a drink and just don't drink it or if you usually drink spirits, get the mixer without the alcohol so it looks like you're drinking.

MissX, 2 weeks will make all the difference. You will be able to see embryonic pole and heart-beat by then.
6 weeks is just too early. I ovulated late, so I just worked out my "adjusted" 7 weeks, and had my scan then. The wait was awful, but the benefits definitely worth it.

I have my 20-week scan next Wednesday...my 12-week scan strongly suggested a girl, which I have mixed feelings about, but next Wednesday will confirm!!

Have that 2-hour glucose test on Tuesday...not looking forward to that again

    Hi all!

Miss x that would be so frustrating
I would want to know now. Glad though that things are looking on track. :-) fingers
Crossed the next two weeks go smooth. With the hens r u away for
The weekend or out? There are lots of hiding tricks, non alcoholic champagne or drinking wine with oj cos it 'not good quality' and really having half lemonade. If you know where you are going you can always phone ahead and check what they have. The hardest part is acting sober. Some people do the on pain killers so can't drink! I know lots of excuses so let me know: the best
Option is to tell your best friend and be swapping glasses the only issue is they end up smashed! ;-)

J - is that standard to have your glucose test at 20 weeks? I am
Private also and my ob hasn't mentioned it?

Hope your all well. I'm 21 weeks and counting. :-)

I'm wondering if anyone else has sore pelvis/butt bone area or hips?
For the last 3 weeks I've had an achey left hip, since returning to work I can't sit down at my desk for more than 1 hour without getting sore butt bones or pelvis area and when I stand up I feel like a cripple!!
    Anyone else?

Maybe try Pilates, with ds2 I had a bit of pain and couldn't sit for more then 20 min I started to do Pilates made my core stronger and my posture better and make the pain go away ...with this one no pain yet but I only started to get pains with ds2 when I was around 20 weeks
