Default Graduates of TTC and not wanting to move #2

Seriously how much time can the baby spend on my cervix?? It's terrible! It's like it's stuck down there!

Hope your job will be ok Toni, not the right time for that sort of stress in your life.

A thermomix sounds ace ftm, Happy Bday!

I feel like there are earthquakes erupting in my tummy, this little baby is getting stronger that's for sure!

J is it possible for the baby to sometimes be sitting/pressing on a particular nerve, would that cause pain or discomfort at times? I never had this with my first.

A thermochef is like a thermomix .. pretty much the same thing minus a reverse function but many thermomix lovers will argue they are pretty much the same thing

It's sooooooo amazing! DH can't cook noodles so cooking is left to me. This machine made my life so much easier yesterday when I used it for the first time! You throw everything in and it does it all for you! I was in heaven! I made egg fettucine with garlic and parslet meatballs in a napoli sauce. Was delish!

Anyways back to baby stuff .. I can still sleep on my tummy funnily enough. On an angle but I can still do it.

J can I ask you something? Are some babies just quieter than others? I am 21+1 today and I hear everyone else in my DIG saying that bubs is kicking them like crazy and makes me sad I can't relate
I get some jabs and kicks here and there but nothing that I can feel from the outside .. could the fact that I carry more weight than I should have anything to do with it? DH really wants to feel her kick but sheesh even I can't feel her on the outside!
I don't think it's a matter of babies being less active, just other compounding factors...if you have an anterior placenta, it muffles baby's kicks. Same with a little extra padding. 20 weeks is the standard, but when I lay down at night with Oscar I could feel flutters, not kicks. Took a while for the kicks to really start. At night-time, the flutters were really nice. Lie on your back, and you may feel them. Sometimes you don't really know what you are feeling for a while. But when she gets going, you'll know!
Ps. Still don't know how a Thermofix works!

Yes, totally. Walk around a bit and jiggle bubs off the nerve! It can be quite painful.

I had a midwives apt yday. Lots of questions asked about family history, info about antenatal classes, measured me and we heard baby's heartbeat on the doppler. It was very reassuring! Just over 2 weeks before our 20w scan and we find out the sex!!!
