button2012 - Very glad to hear the ms is better, good luck for your results.

J37 - Given you are in Melbourne you might know this. Do you know if they still charge over $100 for the 10 week NT blood test? I remember getting this bill from the Children's Hospital wondering what on earth it was for, then called them to find out & couldn't believe I had to pay for it!

Bond Girl - Best wishes for your early scan. What is the difference between the birthing centre & the suites?

AFM: Well I haven't needed to take anything for nausea today! I'm 9 weeks + 2 days, is it possible that it could be beginning to ease?! Please?! Have those of you who have taken Zofran found that you need to take it continually? Or only a few times to settle it down?
I haven't got a bill for the 12-week bloods yet...but that's not to say it wont come! Zofran can be taken 3-4 times a day (if you can afford it)!!
    J xx.

My ob told me if I signed a certain spot on the blood test form, it would get bulk billed. I'm hoping that's the case.

I got 2 blood test forms? One from the ultrasound place and one from my ob. I don't know what one to use!

my little surprise- great photo, so exciting!

blood assassin- the birthing centre is midwife led and low intervention. It looks less like a hospital, more homely. The delivery suite is a typical hospital set up with more doctors and where you have to go if you are higher risk for closer monitoring. if you're being induced etc. I'm disappointed that because of the emergency c section with DS I won't ever get the home birth or birthing centre birth I wanted. But will try as much as possible to have a natural birth this time. Everyone has their preferences, it's just what I personally want.

Hopefully it will all go as planned. When I had ds2 it didn't even occur to me to have a vaginal birth but in the end I kind of felt like I missed out on something so hopefully you will get your natural birth

    Hi lovely ladies!
Catch up time *chuckle*. Congrats Nila, twins! That's so great

I just started my first week of 7 weeks of leave from work today, thankfully we shut down over the xmas period and I get plenty of that time to have a good break.
