Thanks J37 for suggesting me to join this thread, I did have some time away from BH for awhile but great to see many of you have got your BFP.

So any advice for me first up?

I'm just going back and reading all the posts..... :-)
Welcome!!! So great to see you in here.

I haven't got too much advice, try to relax and enjoy it as much as you can. Eating constantly has worked for me, to keep morning sickness away. Hasn't been so great for keeping my weight gain to a minimum though.

Welcome Miss Faery! Personally I think this thread is better than the Due Dates threads, as they seem to all nick off to Facebook (which I hate!!). This thread has the benefit of the experience of the newly pregnant to those in their 2nd trimester, and is far more intimate.

OK, so how's this for insane pregnant behaviour? I am 16w3d today, and last night I was convinced my baby was dead. No pain, no bleeding....just random onset paranoia. So I lay on my bed with my stethoscope trying to find bub's heart-beat (which I knew I wouldn't hear; I have a good stethoscope, but you very rarely hear a foetal heart with a stethoscope). Even so, I lay there listening intently until my husband walked in and laughed at me! All I heard were my own bowel sounds (no surprise)!

So, even as a supposedly rational doctor, as a pregnant woman I am a nut-bag!

J, I hope your bub is nice and healthy in there. I would assume it won't be much longer and you'll be feeling bub move. When is your morph scan?

I agree, I love this thread. Everyone at different stages, and some on first baby, some on subsequent babies. There is a lot of knowledge in here.

I'm 11+1, and don't feel pregnant at all. The only time it seems real is when i'm having a scan and can see my baby. I can't wait until I can feel it moving, so it feels more real.

I can't wait to feel the babies either it's when you actually start to feel pregnant!! I don't mind Facebook as I have family and friends from all over the world so it's handy but I do like this thread too!!
11 weeks today only 10days till
My nt scan I can't help but feel like something is wrong!! I might hire a Doppler maybe that might help in between doctors appointments
