Just wanted to say to Mylittlestar that I hope everything is ok with bubs. I was born at 30 weeks (measuring smaller than 28 weeks due to placenta failure) and am healthy today I hope they can convince bubs to stay in and cook a little longer

Default Graduates of TTC and not wanting to move #2

    Hi everyone,

I have had a mini break and doing my best to catch up. I have read back but too far behind to attempt personals so hope everyone is doing ok.

Mylittlestar - I will be thinking of you. I hope you and bubs are both safe and well tonight.

AFM - I had my 20 week scan today. Didn't find out the sex but bubs looks healthy. Luckily they kept their legs crossed so no chance to accidentally find out yet. I got some very cute 3D pictures which just made me want to give bub a big cuddle.

Little Max decided he didn't want to wait! Weighing 1.75kg & 42cm, 32
    weeks.

They tried to stop my labour, my body had other ideas. Through an ultrasound they decided that he needed to come out, my placenta didn't look like it was functioning 100%, plus I'd started dilating.

They said a high chance of c-section but they'd try normal delivery first. Well I went from 1cm to 10cm dilated in 4 hours! They took me to theatre to deliver because of high risk plus he might not like coming out so then they'd do a c-section.

He's in special care, I've hardly seen him They're helping him breathe a little plus giving him antibiotics thru a catheter. Main risk is lung infection.

I had 3 little stitches and feeling ok. Tired! I am in shock I guess. So out of the blue. My pregnancy with Dd was totally by the book, in fact went into labour on her due date.

I have nothing organised either! Except a couple of breastfeeding essentials and clothes (which don't fit him!). I had 8 more weeks where i was going to organise everything! Oh well, it was all out of my control.

I'm glad I didn't need a c-section as now ill be to and fro the hospital every day (he'll prob be in for 3 weeks) and will need to be mobile ASAP!

Thanks for all your kind words x I'll keep you all in the loop. Goes to
    show you never know!

Congrats Mylittlestar on max! Great name. So glad he is doing ok. Must have been hard not being able to have cuddles. Hopefully you'll have plenty to come.

How exciting our first bub! :-)
