Congrats lil Smurfy! She is already acting like a proper lady!

I won't be sterilizing this time either, just cleaning thoroughly. But the blog that I read, the woman actually found black mold spots on the inside of the connector where the hose went into the pump, so an area that doesn't even get cleaned by soap and water .
I've nicked the picture from her blog because I don't think I can link to a personal blog:

If it was just in need of a clean it wouldn't bother me but the fact that it's mold which can cause all sorts of illnesses in little ones freaks me out more than a little bit heh.
So I'm avoiding the Medela Swing because I've seen a few too many cleanliness issue reviews on them for me to risk it. That's only my own personal bugbear though *chuckle*.

Congrats on your little girl Lil Smurfy, so special!

Good tips about cleaning and not sterilizing...I didn't know I could just do that. What sort of soap are you supposed to use to clean with?

I just bought an ergo carrier so I can cross that off my list. Now I need to get the newborn insert for it.

I'm thinking of buying a Moses bassinet, anyone else? They look so cute but also convenient as you can easily take it to different rooms.

Just normal dishwashing liquid! Hot soapy water and then rinse with hot water an leave to dry
