    Default Those who have cleaners

Those of you who have cleaners, do you ever give them bonuses?

I want to give my cleaner some extra money over christmas as i really appriciate her coming each week and doing a really good job. Every week she stays longer than required and her work is fabulous.

What sort of bonus do you give if you give one? Is it money? Present? She comes weekly so i want to organise it for next week, a few days before christmas is here to give it to her.

    Thanks

It varies. Sometimes I've put an extra $50 or $100 in with a Christmas card, and other times I've just given a box of chocolates/ biscuits. Sometimes both I don't do it as a routine thing - just something I think of as nice to do.

my mum often gets a present from all the families she cleans for she has worked for many of them for 5 Yeats and they count her as a part of the family, I know she really appreciates any gifts whether it's a bottle of wine, gift voucher, body products, food hamper stuff etc

I give ours $50 in a card and a box of chocolates. They do such great work that they more than deserve it!

I left a gift for mine. Last year I gave her a bit of extra cash. I'm sure it's not expected, but is appreciated

    I give her a gift a Christmas.

I don't give her bonuses through the year but I still pay her if she is sick or can't come in so she knows she has constant cash regardless.
