    Default It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas! - Week 7, Day 5 - Blog 69

    Just a quick one before bed. The weekend has been crazy busy and also terrible. No exercise *gasp* and I've eaten so much crap food. I've also been to two Christmas functions and it's so hard to not eat crap especially when one of them was at a buffet!

    I'm okay with this, though, life happens and I'll be back up at 5am tomorrow to do my morning workout. Fingers crossed I can make it through the remaining four Christmas functions this week without completely screwing up my diet! I figure if I can keep my food choices halfway decent and keep up with my exercising daily, it should be fine. I just don't want to ruin all of my hard work with the "Silly Season"!!!

    It is so hard to eat right when everyone around is chowing down on yummy fattening stuff. I am using the 3 bite rule. You the eating as healthy as I can and than if there is something that I feel like I am really missing out on, I have it but only 3 small bites.

    That's a good idea! The rest of the events are at restaurants so shouldn't be as bad. The ones on the weekend were at a buffet and an Italian restaurant, so good good choices were incredibly limited! I minimised my portions and skipped dessert at the Italian restaurant. I did have dessert at the buffet, though, they had vanilla ice cream and spearmint topping! I had two scoops...
