Ring a pvt ultrasound clinic and have one done yourself. It will cost more with no Drs referral but you will get your answer.

    And find another Dr.

Yeah I think I'll wait for the results and if he doesn't then send me I will go to someone else.

The waiting is terrible!! I don't think my DH is taking it well because, same as me, he is getting his hopes up then getting let down. And what also is really hard and upsetting, if this is negative and I'm not pregnant, DH said he wanted to wait awhile before we try again

You are much more patient than I'd be in your situation.
Perhaps call your GPs reception and ask where you'd be sent for an ultrasound if needed...then book in for Friday arvo once results are in. At least then if its positive you dont' have any more waiting time, and if its not needed you can cancel it?

Why are the results taking so long? I'd be finding a different dr

Wow, very interesting. You have all the pregnant symptoms by the sounds if it.
What happens if you do another HPT? A light positive is still a positive.
Hope you get some answers soon!

There's no way I'd be waiting personally, that's no reason for results to take that long and sorry but your dr doesn't sound proactive. Regardless of these results you are going to need an ultrasound. Either to determine how far a long you are or to find out what is actually going on, so I find it rather inadequate that the Dr isn't just referring you for an US. (My opinion only obviously)

I guess I'm paitent because the tests are always negative, I'm telling myself no.

Maybe it is taking awhile because he's testing for other stuff, not sure. This is only the second time I've seen him because I moved away from my old one.

The test had a thin light coloured line that you could hardly see. Then I tested the next day and there was nothing so I don't no if it was an evap. I want to believe it but it should of gotten darker when I tested 5 days later.
