I went on a cleaning spree with 4 weeks to go and went into labour that night. Nesting is a pretty good sign that it's a coming!

I woke up about 6am with DS with some mild cramping but I'd had an irritable uterus so thought not much of it. As the day went on nothing much changed till about 4pm and the cramping increased, constant loose bowels (sorry) and when I had to lean over the table at a friends house the penny dropped for her and she suggested I was in labour. 6am the next morning I had him.

With DD I was clueless lol. Had some cramping which again I ignored. About 1pm I thought I was having contractions so started timing them and sure enough I was. I had her about 5.30pm that day. No other signs with her though, all happened quite quickly and unexpected as she was 2 weeks early.

Haha I have had some cramping today and yesterday and the day before that but I put it down to my bowel as its been struggling to function properly haha. Currently 4 days over and want to meet my little boy! Have an appt on Wednesday, going to ask about being induced as much as I don't want to be.. I just don't want to be in hospital over Christmas. Is that selfish?

Not selfish at all, DD was due Boxing Day and I was secretly thrilled that she was 2 weeks early (given that all was fine of course) because I wasn't pregnant or in hospital for Christmas. Good luck, hope it happens soon for you and all goes well.

I had no idea at all! The morning that I went into labour, I got my nails done and was joking to my friend who does my nails that I'd probably still be pregnant when they were due for my next lot of infills lol! That afternoon, I was in labour

Thinking about it after DD was born, I had felt off colour the afternoon before but it was 36 degrees or so and I thought I was just dehydrated. She was born quickly the next morning
