Default Would it be weird if I.....

So I am BF my 8 day old and my 1year old DS who was only BF for 12 weeks has taken a bit of an interest in my boobs, would it be strange if I tried to feed him again? Some people have said it would be weird and some have said its a great idea.

DS only has a bottle in the morning and at night and occasionally during the day.

I don't think it would be weird.

Dd1 was the same she tried to bite my boob (through my top) when I fed dd2. I personally thought it was weird and didn't let her feed, I cuddled her and didn't let her feel they "were out if bounds" she eventually lost interest as I think it was just a jealousy thing.

It really depends if you can cope with both. I probably would if I was in the position.

Both my DDs were interested when I started feeding DS. Dd1 fed for three years so she was more interested in the logistics but she did ask for a taste which I provided. She laughed. Dd2 fed for only a year and a bit and got a bit jealous. I was willing to feed her if she'd wanted but when crunch time came she freaked out and ran away. It's not weird. Go for it!!

Nothing wrong with it at all if you would like to do it and feel you could keep up with them both.
And I guess you could always express and give it to him if it was a day you weren't feeling up to it but still wanted him to have it.

I don't think it would be weird - but you might find he can't really get any out as the suck required to breast feed is different to that of a bottle, probably too late for him to re-learn.

It's referred to as 'unweaning'. If you google it you'll find stories of how other women have unweaned their toddlers. Good luck! If you go ahead with it you'll probably find your toddler has a growth spurt.

I think if it's something you want to do then why not do it. I personally wouldn't buy every one is different and you know what's best for your family.
