Default Exercising when pregnant with twins

    Hi there,

I have finally been able to get back to the gym the last few weeks after ms has slowed up. Only been doing bike and light-ish weights to tone my arms and back, legs. But when I was reading my pregnancy book last night it said women having a multiple pregnancy shouldn't exercise.. That sounds odd? Why not?

    Any help would be great!

I find a lot of the advice about pregnancy is odd - like why can't I do bicep curls at body pump?

The safest thing is probably to ask your obstetrician - can you ring him/her?

Also have you thought about specialised prenatal exercise classes? I feel that they are a very safe option.

I think you should listen to your body! Early on you should be fine but later on you will probs need to ease up as you get bigger.. I am not doing any 'exercise' atm I figure I am on my feet all day at work and am exhausted when I get home so it must be enough for me! Only you know your bodys limits
