Blame puffy eyes on hay fever. I'm glad you got through. I tried ringing once but the lines were so congested it wouldn't go through. I thinks its a service that is invaluable and the staff selfless.

Default I need to talk to someone.

I'm so glad you called. I volunteer with lifeline and trust me your problems are significant. We are a crisis support helpline but crisis is relative- different for everyone from wanting a chat if your lonely to suicide, it really is important to us. I'm so sorry many if you have experienced long waits- its hard to get waiting times down in busy periods as volunteers are hard to come by. If anyone is interested in helping out lifeline have a great training program and is always looking for people to man the phones.

Funnily enough I also called lifeline tonight. I spoke with a really lovely and un-pushy woman who also provided me with some excellent points and actions to consider. Well done lifeline, it made me feel a lot better too. Hope you are doing well OP.
