    Default Sippy cup start

    Just after some opinions:
my DD is almost 5 months old and I will introduce foods late next month.. but what about sippy cups? Should I start using them now and begin her on water? (I can't remember what i did with DS, it was so long ago now!! lol)
The cups recommend starting "first sips" at 4 months (I know that water is not a dietry requirement at this stage and that her milk feeds cover her fluid intake right now), but should I be preparing her now for meal time liquid/water and teach her to drink from her sippy cup? (obviously not relpace bottles).
    Thanks.

My 5 month DS has a sippy cup but can't really use it... He actually prefers to drink from it without the lid. Loads ends up over him but he does swallow a bit

DD has started grabbing her bottle as I feed her and she tries to direct it into her mouth but ends up pluggling her eyeball or forehead hehe.. so i thought the cup with handles would be perfect right now to help give her more control and practice.

    Default Sippy cup start

DD started at 5-6 months just on water in the sippy cup. I bought a few and she couldn't work out how to use them. Found the Nuby ones are the best.
