    Default what's the matter?

Hi ladies! (i have three kids, all natural births)
i was wondering if someone could please give me some advice?
i had the depo injection in october, im not due for another til early january.. last week i had sore breasts and some slight nausea which would randomly come and go. i didn't do a hpt as i thought i would wait for af...
which if you know how depo works, you don't really get a proper period.
i did end up getting af this week, but i have had a really sore back (like period pain cramping in my back)
i have felt tingling and a heavy sensation (you know where) and pain in my bottom. i have had little clots. and normal period pain too... any advice? tia

Any time you put artificial hormones into your body (whether it is depo, implanon or the pill) you can experience side effects, particularly relating to your menstrual cycle. Having a weird period isn't a cause for concern IMO, its just part of what can happen when you use hormonal contraceptives. Everyone's body reacts differently.
If you are really worried though, go see your GP. Even if there's nothing wrong you will feel better once you know for sure.

Are you concerned its an early miscarry?

Would hcg register still if you poas?

Otherwise I agree with pp, sounds like fun contraception "perks"

    Okay. thank you ladies!
i was feeling better today. til i have sat down and i can feel the back pain...
i was on depo b4 having my son for quite a while and never had these side effects (sore breasts, back pain with period, nausea etc) just the "spotting" kind of period. so im not sure...
yes Babycart, there is a slight concern in my mind of early mc.
I dont know what your second sentence means??? :S
Would Hcg register still if i poas???

Sorry, didn't explain myself very well. I was curious that if it were in fact a miscarry, would you show a +ve hpt? So if you got a +ve, then that would confirm that your current af/clots was a miscarry and you should go to the doctor to ensure there was no retained material. But if you got a bfn on the pregnancy test, then you'd know if was just a funky af.

I'm just not sure if hcg would be present still if you were miscarrying. Hope that makes more sense

Would likely still be positive pregnancy test if taken today in case of miscarriage

Poas = pee on a stick (take a pregnancy test)
Hcg is the hormone produced in pregnancy and what pregnancy tests react to

pregnancy tests can show a positive reading up to 6 weeks after a MC. IMO unlikely a MC.
