When he starts to get tired, we don't have a set bedtime, I'd say it averages about 7.30pm he gets up any time between 5 am and 6 am, what ever time he goes to bed. He's 3.

Ds (3 yrs) will wake up at 5am on the dot regardless of what time he goes to bed and no longer has a day sleep. Because of this he is generally exhausted in the evenings. He is in bed at 6pm and we read a couple books before he goes to sleep.

Default *Spin Off* What time do your kids go to bed??

DS is 20 months, goes to bed at 8-8.30, seems late but he sleeps til 7 at a minimum and occasionally sleeps til 9am. I am not a morning person so this suits me just fine.

    8-8:30, he is 3.

There are plenty of nights when he is still awake at 9:30 though

DD is 21 months and goes to bed around 7. It can take her up to an hour to self-settle (usually 30-40 mins). She sleeps through almost every night and wakes between 6.30 and 7.30. She usually naps for 1.5 hours during the day.

When she was tiny she often wouldn't go down for the night until 10 or 11pm. It was a real struggle bringing her bedtime forward but she sorted it out around 6 months old.
