Default Does anyone have the Nissan elgrand car?

Hi all, I know I'm more than likely in the wrong place but thought I'd ask it here. Does anyone own a Nissan elgrand?
Would you consider the vehicle to be a worth while investment or a heap of junk and don't buy one?
They have caught my eye so now I can't stop thinking that this is a vehicle for us, DH on the other hand thinks they look like a 'pimp my ride vehicle' lol
They are imported from Japan but from what I have read is that their parts are readily available here.
Are they expensive to run and maintain?

    TIA

I don't have one, but we have had a different import previously. I recommend checking out what insurance would cost for it before you fall any further in love. Our imported car ended up costing us $3000 a year to insure thanks to it being an import.

I imported a vehicle and it cost me a small packet for its import, compliancing etc. But my registration was only $1500 a year even with all the mods I had listed.

I'm not sure what an elgrande is and now I'm going to google.

    And the info page.

    http://nissanelgrand.com.au/

You'll be able to get all your answers there also red book can give you fuel stats etc

If either of those pages aren't ill remove them.

Nope but dp suggested we get one. He is a Nissan fan, he has a R34 skyline imported from Japan.

I don't have one but really like them. I love the seating configuration and the square look of them.
I was considering selling my cx9 for one a few months back..

Brilliant thank you everyone, I'll look into insurance etc, I have just looked at the Toyota Kluger as well, the sale man said they are also imported from Japan so it really has me thinking now
I also love the seat configuration and the space of the elgrand that's ticking a major box for me.
