    Default Exercise... How much??

How much exercise do you do each week?

How much do you need to do to maintain fitness/weight/wellbeing?

    Interested in hearing people's responses...

For some reason 30-60 minutes daily is popping in to my head? Have no idea if thats right though

ETA just realised you were asking how much everyone actually does.

Id do close to an hour every day, sometimes more, sometimes less. And sometimes not al all kn the weekends. Its usually a mix of walking/jogging/bushwalking/pilates/weight depwnding on what i feel likes. I love my rowing machine too.

    Two x 1 hour sessions.

1 group mums & bubs and 1 PT session 2 on 1 at my home gym.

    Both pretty intensive workouts.

I'm trying to squeeze in one more session next year.

I'm a runner. I do between 40-55k per week, depending on work/tiredness/injury. Ideally:
    1x 25k long run
    1x 9k hard run
    1x interval session (5x800m)
1x 10-15k hill session in the Dandenongs (just about to start this)

Every Monday I do 1 hour of toning Zumba, every Wednesday I do 1 hour of cardio Zumba and every Friday I do a 13km walk (mostly flat).

They say that 1 hour per week of any type of exercise is good.

    Isn't it 30 mins a day? I don't remember?
I do at least an hour a day. Usually a 10-15km walk (obviously longer than an hour) and/or a weights based class at the gym.

Thanks for responses so far. Just to clarify I wasn't looking for any guidelines, just personal responses about what works for them...

I can see how it varies for people...

I think I need to do more, not surprised

    1.5 hours a day 4-5 times a week.
Sometimes more if I go swimming.
But I'm trying hard to get very toned (starting a body builders diet on Monday)
And will need to add another 3 weight training sessions to that.

The only reason I bother at all is so I can eat more food without exploding my pants. If I had more self control with good I'd probably not bother at all. I like lying around ib front of the tv. Ans I've been known to eat a snickers while on the rower...

Nothing, but my works physical. That can be up to 5 hours a day . But actual planned exercise zilch. Wish I could change it I just find it boring. No organized sports or gym here
