I was lucky - my FS was also my OB and his receptionist scheduled my first appointment at 7weeks as soon as my blood result came in. I did have to get a referral from my GP as my previous referral was only for fertility treatments - for me it was great having the same doctor who grew our embryo also deliver our bub

Definitely book now, as OB's book out rapidly if popular- then you will have a few weeks before your first appointment to go and get your referral letter from GP. Congratulations and all the best

    Thank you ladies
I did end up booking an OB but it was a bit of a knee-jerk reaction as i didnt want to miss out! I might keep trying other ones just in case.

Wagers you are very lucky that your FS offers obstetrics care. that would be my idea situation but my FS doesn't deliver babies anymore.

Very true! I booked in for childcare commencing Jan 2013 when I was six weeks pregnant with DS (April 2011). I was lucky enough to get exactly what I was after, but had I left it two or three weeks I'd probably be struggling. Crazy.

Hey Motherwillbe! Thanks for that ..in the it took me 4 cycles to fall pregnant. I am grateful I had a few frozen embryos from that first fresh cycle. You must be close to being a mummy by now?

Ha ha ha it does sound really crazy to think about child care at this point but thanks for reminding me ill have to do some research x

I'm 38 weeks this week and due on 10 jan so not long to go. I finished work yesterday so am slowly getting started on my to do list before bubs arrives. I'm hoping I'm not early because I'm really looking forward to having a few weeks to relax ans wind down after work. It's strange to think I'm off for 8 months now!

lillac how many weeks are u now? Will u find out the sex of the baby?

It is a good thing u had some frozen ebbies from ur cycle. I only have one left if we decide to try for another bub later on.

Oh wow you are so close to the finish line!! Do you know if you are having a boy or girl?
I'm only 7 weeks so still early days. Not sure about finding out gender yet. It still feels very surreal !
