Default Is it too soon to be booking OB and hospital ?

    Hi ladies,
I recently got my BFP. First one ever. I'm just over 5 weeks and waiting for my clinic pregnancy scan which is a fortnight away.
At what point do you start making OB and hospital appts?
Being an IVF patient has made me so cautious and weary to get too carried away just yet however am I leaving it too late if I wait till my scan (at 7 wks)?

    Thoughts welcome😌

Nope especially if you're going private. I started googling when I got my bfp and lucky I did! I wanted a female OB and I had a list of 5 which had good comments/were in the location I wanted and delivered at the hospital I wanted to go to I got in on the 4th call the other ones were fully booked already and I wasn't even 5 weeks!!! I was totally shocked, so go ahead start looking!!! And congratulations!!!

Nope, book now. We waited until 10 weeks and couldn't get in to any of the OBs we wanted. Ended up having to go public, which was ok but I would have preferred my own OB

Yeah book now Lillac. I did to get who I wanted. Unfortunately I had to cancel it but that was easy enough.

Ok thanks so much ladies . Far out I need to start cracking -I'd been so focused on ttc that I hadn't really thought about a post-BFP plan

Book now! I got my IVF BFP and booked into three different obs and then went home to talk to DH about which one to choose and cancelled two of the appointments

Nope, you can always cancel if not needed. I've heard people book as soon as they ovulate , just in case
