Default Cleaning vomit and pee off lounge! HELP!

My DS has suddenly fallen sick with vomiting huge amounts everywhere (he's done 3 since yesterday arvo) and while I was in the shower this morning he was watching tv (I thought he was better!) and a vomit has come from nowhere!

I've tried sponging it off the lounge with detergent and water but it's not working properly
He also had an accident n did a little wee on the couch - how do I clean this?!?!

Will a Coles carpet cleaner come with upholerstery attachments to wash a couch? I need to get this sorted befre my partner comes home or he is going to be very annoyed with me for sitting our boy on the couch while he's sick

I'd just scrub with the water and detergent otherwise could you get a professional in?

Just Scrub and let it air out. Or get a carpet cleaner, I think you can do lounges with them.

Diluted disinfectant after the detergent scrub, then out in the sun to dry

I'm not sure if the carpet cleaner would come with upholstery attachments. It might. That would be the way to go I think. Clean by hand as much as possible, use a carpet cleaner if you can get your hands on one, and go nuts with the Fabreeze to make it smell pretty.

Bi carb and vinegar are good for removing odours.

Default Cleaning vomit and pee off lounge! HELP!

I second the bicarbonate and vinegar.
Google it for ideas but I used bicarbonate when my child vomited on our carpeted stairs. I cleaned it as much as possible them sprinkled bicarbonate and left it until I could get a steam cleaner from the supermarket as it was a public holiday when it happened. Hope you little one feels better soon.
