Agree with the poster that said icing a cake. Honestly.. everyone in the world can ice a cake right? Not me. It looks so bloody easy! And then you see those fancy amazing cakes that some really arty clever people make, and think "well surely I can just bake a simple sponge cake and ice it". Well I can't

I take the egg right out of the pan and dunk in cold water. Doesn't matter if the egg has been purchased today or a week ago... it still works.

Maybe it's the dunking in cold water immediately afterwards that does it? I dunno.

I take them off the stove, drain the water out and then run cold water In to the saucepan. Leave them for a few mins til you can comfortably hold the egg and then peel. I rarely have an issue.

Add salt to the water when boiling the eggs, the shells come off so easily!

I peel eggs under the tap (running cold water on it) otherwise it takes me ages.

    Back to original topic..

Why is it so hard to go shopping by myself while I'm pregnant?!

Find the ONE toy that DS wants for Christmas at the shops?

Get DP to pick up after himself.

Find someone on their full license to take me driving.

Spread vegemite on bread without it ripping apart???

Keep the lid of the toothpaste tube clean.

I seem to be the only adult I know incapable of this!
