Then definitely appropriate attire. I would think image would be important in that line of work.

Wishing you luck with the interview

It looks clean and presentable, and like you have made an effort! Good luck!
Gosh hope you didn't take "looks like you have made an effort" the wrong way!

Thanks guys - wore the dress!

I hear back from her this afternoon! So a bit nervous/anxious about that.

I'd be starting off working about 3 days a week, and then maybe more in January when one of their therapists leaves.

The spa was divine... and HUGE! The treatment rooms are massive and beautiful which makes me really really want the job (despite getting there being a PITA - the last 8km took me a whole 50 mins... the first 30km took me like 1/2 hour... lol).

I'm really hoping I can get it.

I apologised to her for my tandoori tan as well.. lol. I was so embarrassed to rock up there bright orange, and didn't want her thinking that's just how I usually presented myself, so told a little bit of an awkward short story at the start to explain. She's not a therapist herself, so didn't make me trade-test, but she said she was really really impressed with my cover letter, that it was so well written, and her husband was impressed too. Very happy with that.

It'll be a DREAM to work at a spa as a fresh-out-of-college therapist! I was thinking I'd have to put in a good few years in a salon first... but let's just hope i get it!

I know I'll feel like crap if I don't... so fingers crossed!
