Thanks! Probably. I'm sensitive sometimes as I don't like upsetting people.

    Sounds good!

Noty - why an FS? Is it because of your molar preg?

    Feel better soon Channy!

Shelby - I'm 8dpo too and testing on Monday! Hopefully we can hold out together. DD is 24 months and we want to give her a sibling ASAP!

I tend to leave threads where ppl are having a go at each other, I work in marketing and have to deal with horrible fb and twitter ppl every day, so don't hang around if it starts getting nasty. Iv only really seen it in other BH areas though not really TTC thank goodness. Its crazy that ppl can get so upset about the silliest of things (not referring to this thread at all, were all good here think princess was just warning us in case).
I was part of another TTC forum that was horrible. I asked about my test line continuously being faint and that I was upset by how I was treated by my doctor and got an onslaught which lasted around 15 pages! According to some very passionate people a bHCG blood test is a very controversial subject believe it or not. I won't go on about what was said as it's quite upsetting, but it shocked me to say the least! I'm all for having different opinions but you should have heard the nasty comments aimed at people! I was so upset by it (I had a MC then went back and read all the comments and was so upset by what people had said!). I really don't think there needs to be such nastiness in threads and obviously some people think because they are behind a screen and not face to face they can say what they like! Very sad.

FYI I'll be using pregnosis early tests this cycle instead of FRER
best of luck! I am loving pregnosis. Frustratingly no lines, but it also means no evaps. Same with the FR dip tests actually, no matter which way I bend it or stick it in the line can't see a ghost of a line at all

I don't usually get so obsessive so early but for the first time in a while I think we're in with a chance. I want to think positive, but I don't want to get ahead of myself. Regardless, I think I will be devastated if bfn this month. I find myself thinking 'man, I'm really tired this could be it! Oh, wait I had a late night' or 'I feel nauseas! Oh, maybe because I haven't had breakfast yet' lol.
I know, I feel the same. I am kinda half expecting it to take ages cause it did with DS but at the same time this christmas break was the best chance we had as we were both rested and home. DH has dreadful hours and we both have a lot of work pressure so am worried our chances of bding when we need are non existant as of next week. I am scrutinising every symptom, then talking myself out of them by telling me it is a sign of af, that way can't be disappointed when she arrives...but......

i have this issue too, when I go to post on my phone, i get to the option of adding files, I get to pick the files and it brings me back to bubhub without adding photos to download list. However, gasp, I don't have an I phone so using android which may be the issue as bh only seems to have apple apps unless i have missed it

people can get overly passionate about topics and forget that the written word is often tone deaf. They may mean one thing but it isn't what we read. Also things can become a bit of a back and forward that noone is going to win or agree on so it just doesn't end.

In saying that for me forums are just invaluable. i am an oversharer and people IRL wouldn't cope with the convos I need to have constantly lol

I agree that people get very passionate about certain issues, without any intention of hurting another person's feelings. Because I am a doctor and also have a Pharmacy degree, I am passionate about people receiving and understanding the correct medical and scientific information. It would break my heart to think I had upset someone. I just believe people should have the facts...what they chose to do with that information is their decision.

I can totally understand that. People just can't always see intentions in writing either, but also I think that people sometimes like to have the speculation? keep the guessing game going or something? so whilst sometimes we are asking for opinion I think if we are honest we don't really want it always? we wanna hang on to the dream and the maybe?

actually J something I did want your opinion on, whats your take on caffiene and ttc? I find giving up caffeine harder to give up than alcohol. I have about three plungers in the morning and then no more for the rest of the day. Such differing "studies" online about it

Default Joyous January 2013 Testing Thread

I completely agree that words can be misinterpreted but there are some that can't and I think there is absolutely no reason to blast someone who is a fragile ttc-er yet it happens, so strange.

I agree Channy, if anyone is deliberately attacking someone who is obviously vunerable, or not even obviously vunerable, that is strange and so unnecessary. to completely digress and make it all about me again, I am still obsessed with my areolas, does anyones change closer to af? like surely af hormones could affect them as well?
