Oh, the clever bugger. Wants to sleep with us now!

I have ended up putting the radio on in his room now. Sounds quiet so maybe that will do the trick.... Daycare says he sleeps like a dream.

He is probably too yound for his own bed? I am 19 weeks pregnant and want to move him to his own BIG bed before baby nr 2 comes.

Yep ! Clever little rascals! Each child is different , I started my older two in beds at about 22 months and had them in their own bed at 2.1yrs and 2.3 yrs. Mine was based more on the fact they weren't trying to get out so I wasnt about to ruin that. Once they realize they can get out you get these lovely pitter Patters down the hall at ungodly hours ! Haha
My youngest is 2.2 now and I'm pretty certain he will be climbing into a cot with his wife on their wedding night ;-) no plans to ever put him in a bed! He tried climbing out at 17 months so I turned his cot into a toddler bed, pushed the empty side against the wall then cable tied the two sides together to extend the height of the exposed side! Hahaha
He has no luck swinging his leg over that!!!

I used radio for my eldest son! It was because my house was so quiet with it being just me mostly cause hubby was interstate so when he came home he kept waking Jaxon up! The radio stopped that! If it works you may as well! Even a little heat pack to cuddle up to maybe?

You are hilarious!! I had the best laugh this morning reading the cot episode. Absolutely loved that.

The radio seemed to work. He woke up at 1am again screaming his lungs out(poor neighbours, they must think we attack him), put the radio on and before I got to the door he was quiet. Hopefully it will work tonight again.

Thanks again. Helps to know we are not the only ones struggling at times!

Oh well that's good, you hear of people using the radio a lot. If it works then that's awesome!

My second son went into a big boy bed at 15 months with a baby gate at the door. We would read him a story and wait until he had gone to sleep and then leave. In a single bed ( we got a car bed which has built up sides) you can get in with them if they call out and escape easier . So much easier all around .
