Not all the time with my first boyfriend. Both of us were virgins and idiots. We used pull out method a bit.

With the following guys I did.

    Yes, condoms & The Pill.

I was completely anal about it, I didn't want to get pregnant and I was scared of getting an STD.

Not often and that's how I ended up pregnant at 17. I wanted to go on the pill but mum refused, I think she assumed that if she let me it meant that she was saying it was ok for me to be having sex or something. Which I was anyway. I swear i'm going to be different with my daughter though. I want to be able to talk to her openly about it and have her feel she is able to come to me (with my boys too). It was a very taboo topic in my home when I was a kid which caused me to be very naive and I don't want that for my kids.

I went on the pill with my first bf. And before I was on the pill we used condoms, and should have kept using them because turns out he was cheating on me a lot. Then I slept around a fair bit, and was stupid to think the pill was good enough. I'm lucky I didn't end up with a really nasty STI!
Then I suddenly snapped out of it and stopped sleeping with anyone or dating anyone for quite a while. And finally met my now DH and we always used at least one form of protection, until we started trying for a baby.

I will definitely be educating my children on the risks!! I would be horrified if they didn't use protection and ended up with an STI, or pregnant when they weren't ready.

Yes. We used condoms, then I went on the pill.
    After
DS1 was born, I was breastfeeding and hadn't had a period so we (stupidly) assumed we were safe. We found out about DS2 when DS1 was 15 months old.

We used condoms all the time until one split one day. So it was off to the doctor for the morning after pill and a prescription for the pill. I used both after that. I was really paranoid of the prospect of falling pregnant.

I was on the pill from 14 due to heavy and irregular periods. Scary thing though? I fell pregnant at 19 with dp while on the pill and using condoms. It was a good lesson that NO contraception is 100%.

I went on the pill at 14. I went to live with dad so mum wanted to cover all that stuff with me because she thought it might be awkward for dad to discuss it all with me.

My first boyfriend and I used protection too as well as the pill. We were 16&17.
