Default What was your favourite gift?

I'm struggling with what gift to get a friend who is about to have her 4th bub. This will be her 4th in 5 yrs so most of her baby stuff is in good condition. She has also had girls and a boy previously so has things for both sexes. She doesn't know what she is having this time. Am thinking of something little for bubs and something for her as well? What did you receive that you loved?

A voucher for a hair cut and a pedicure - but some people don't like to be away from their bubs to take the time to do that. My other favourite gift was food lol my gf cooked up a storm and brought it around in containers for me to freeze - the containers were the gift too :-)

I can't really help as a first time mum I got some awesome gifts but your friend probably already has that sort of stuff sorted (forehead thermometer and a pile of muslin wraps were the best) I would suggest though maybe some "vouchers" for housework ie free laundering free vacuuming where you would go around and do those things for her.

If she's already got the usual stuff from the other kids perhaps a my first year book for the baby and chocolate for her.

Or you could make her a few vouchers for you to do her washing/cook a meal/babysit while she showers etc.

A friend gave me a little goody bag of things for me after bub was born. I was really touched as no one else had thought of this.

    In it was:

    Chocolates
    My favourite lollies
    A scented candle
    Body wash
    Loofa
    Lip balm

Just little things but it was really thoughtful of her!

Frozen meals are great, or else you can never go wrong with a book. This little one won't have many things he/she can call his/her own, so sometimes a little touchy feely book, or going for a classic like "guess how much I love you" is great. Or else a really nice squeaker is great, the brand Alimrose make beautiful squeakers.
Another idea is the bunnikins hand/foot mould for bubba. Or if you are handy with crafts, a cross stitch which yo can add the name to at the end. If REALLY close, and $ not such an issue, you can find really nice cot quilts which are made to order and personalised. I KNOW they are against SIDS, but I had one for both my boys and used them on the ground, and when they were older in cot and out of sleeping bags, and now DS1 uses his ont he end of his bed and on the ground in his room as a snuggle blanket.

You can find great personalized family trees on etsy (can get as vouchers in advance to redeem when bub is named)
