How much time per day would you spend on your ipad/computer/similar device?

    How about watching tv?

Compare that to your kids, how much time per day do they spend watching tv/using technology?

I'm quite intrigued as I feel like myself and DS spend a lot of time using ours and it worries me a little. He is quite an active kid when outside, but inside will happily sit in front of the iPad forever.

I sit at a computer for 8 hours a day Monday to Friday. I probably spend another 2-3 hours watching TV and on the phone/laptop at home. On weekends probably 2-3 hours a day.

On school days DD plays games or watches youtube on my phone in the car, maybe 45 minutes a day. No TV on school days. On weekends DD spends maybe 2-3 hours a day watching TV/youtube and playing games on my phone. Maybe a bit more. It's too much but it's the only way I get any peace to get anything done, she doesn't play by herself.

    Default Re: Daily screen time

I spend a lot of the day on bub hub and fb on my mobile, work is really boring and I'd die of boredom without it. I don't watch much TV at night time, maybe 2 hours.

My kids occasionally watch TV for an hour in the mornings and usually for an hour or 2 in the evening. Sometimes they play their ds's or Wii or ps3 but not very often.
