I haven't had time to watch the linked video but gather from the heading it's about George loving his thermo. I'm not sure what that has to do with my post lots of people love their thermo I'm not saying I don't I was just asking for a pointer to where I'd find some really good recipes. Not sure what it is about the video that contradicts that but I guess (hope) all will be revealed when I watch it. My comment about the food tasting like it's cooked quickly isn't automatically a bad thing if it's the right kind of recipe. Which is where I thought might be able to help.

Anyway enough sidetracking off topic carry on. Just something to think about ctm

Eta sorry I thought you meant it as a bad thing! I've always found the Australian forum helpful but I can't link it as its against forum rules they also don't have any of the recipes posted that are in the books apart from the everyday cookbook. Do you have many books? Honestly I usually just google what I want to cook and find my recipes that way now that I have learnt to convert recipes. Maybe you would benefit from some classes or a varoma demo?

You could also tell me what kinds of recipes your having issues with and I might be able to help that way, pm me if you want I'm happy to help!

I cook them at 180, I have a look after 10 mins or so to check if the egg is cooked.
