Default What to buy teenage step daughter for christmas

    Hi,

my 14yr old step daughter loves reading so i have bought her a stack of books to read.

I am trying to figure out what else to buy her, and as i have had some fails with presents before and am certainly out of the loop as to what is cool - maybe some of the parents of teens could tell me what is popular with their daughters and not too expensive.

i would appreciate any ideas - thanks.

My 13 year old sister is one direction obsessed. I got her some merchandise from target like pens, notebooks and photos

Sent from my GT-I9305T using BubHub

I just asked miss nearly 13 and her friend miss 14- their suggestions are....Smiggle, iTunes credit, City Beach voucher, sunnies, Vans (shoes), lip gloss, fairy lights to hang in bedroom, and movie tickets. Hope that helps

My cousins are a little older (16) but things like- movie tickets, nail polish (have a Google on the latest colours, but they seem to do alot of neon at the moment), lipgloss, cool ipod covers if she has one are good.

At work we sell heaps of roxy etc wallets, havianas giant inflatable thongs, normal havis, those leather bali kind of bracelets, and we always get little Billabong or Roxy gift packs that fly out the door.

Jay jays voucher. That's all I ever wanted when I was that age.

Jayjays clothes are really tacky now although gift vouchers for clothes are always a winner
In a similar thread, someone bought their dd a magazine subscription.. I think that's a great idea
    Makeup and nail polish
A new school bag (from a surf shop)
    Digital camera, phone or ipad/tablet

What about a new beach bag? Then you can fill it up with the books, a pair of thongs, a jayjays or movie voucher and a cute pair of summer pjs?

My 13.5yo likes itunes vouchers, smiggle (loved the erasable highlighters her sisters just got for their birthday), Typo things and Diva stuff. Likes Paris or Owls. She is getting things for her room in those themes. One she will love is a Paris cushion. There is a nail polish thats cool at the moment too. Apparently it changes colour depending on your mood.

Oh, Smiggle have a nice Beach Tote bag at the moment! Good idea jellybub! I think I will steal that one for myself. LOL
