    Thats amazing. Everyone will vote 1st and 2nd jan. Winner chooses next months topic. Apparently this thread was a regular occurance in the past and I thought i would give it a go starting up dec. Good luck.

    Of course. So what happens just now... While tweaking washing of the line a butchers bird comes and joins me. Go get the camera and he lets me take some photos. So does the kookaburra in the Mango tree. And the water hen.over the back fence. Lol. Trifecta!

    This fellow and many others are the reason I asked for binoculars this Christmas We have at least one fly around our house everyday, sometimes many more.

    I had to zoom in and crop the picture bit, he was all ready so far away by the time i raced in to get my camera. Have left it next to the front door now for next time.

    Default December photography challenge*

    I ended up taking a pic of this printed copy of a wedge tail eagle pic that I took at the bird talk thingy at Taronga Zoo in 2003. I was expecting to take a pic of him just sitting on the perch, was a fluke for him to be taking off.
