Hi again a little more of an update here. Went back on 15 Jan to FS and follicle is now 16.7mm he said should be at 18mm but its doing what i should do however the progesterone was a little low. E2 level was at 680 but needs to be at 1000 - 1200 at ovulation and LH was getting there but a little behind also. Back tomorrow for a blood test to see what the levels are doing.

andirantandrave- hope your weekend went well I take my clomid at night too and it is much better dont have any side effects only one I had was made me sleepy & little dizzy first day or so but evened out.
Sophs - Hope your 2nd clomid cycle is going well

nirok - How did your first clomid cycle go. Hope you got your BFP.

I'm on my second cycle now. No luck with cycle one unfortunately.

I accidentally took my Clomid CD4-8 instead of 5-9 but still O'd on CD17 (same as cycle one) as far as I'm aware. I don't do full on monitoring - just a CD21 blood test to confirm.
I've been googling like crazy trying to figure out what's the go with my progesterone levels on CD21 this month. I was 49 last month and 151 this month! Massive jump and far above the average as far as I can tell but I don't know what it means.

CD25, 9DPO - trying to wait until Monday to test which would be 12DPO but who am I kidding, I've got 4 x 3 packs of tests! Lol... well prepared!

Feeling kinda hopeful but who knows.

2WW Andirantandrave - good luck for testing soon!!
Twinkley that the follie pops soon. Lots of DTD in the meantime!
Sophs - how are you going?

    Hi guys,

Sorry I haven't replied in a while. I'm still in the same cycle of clomid. Up to day 15 today. Had blood tests on Mon, tues, thurs and fri and ultrasounds on tuesday and friday last week. My levels went up and I had two 9mm follicles, but then they went down again.......then up again and then down to lower than before with only lots of small follicles. So don't think this cycle has worked, but they're making have another blood test and ultrasound tuesday. Can't wait till they get the balance of things right for me so I ovulate and at least I won't have to have so many tests! Not even allowed to DTD until I get an all clear from the specialist as my AMH level is 115 so they said I might go from something not working to suddenly working very well. I don't really want 8 babies!!

    Enough about me though....

Twinkley - Have your levels and gotten high enough? The size of that follicle isn't that far off!

andirantandrave - How is the clomid going for you? Did you get any more side effects later in your cycle?

nirok - I hope you have had a BFP since your last post. That progesterone looked really good!!

Default TTC bub #1 but PCOS making it difficult- 1st round of Clomid

Hi ladies, hope I can join you on here. I started another thread yesterday not realising this was here!

I'm on my third round of clomid, 50mgs didn't work, 100mgs did but I didn't o until cd35, by then my FS had already said on cd20 that it didn't work, so I didn't expect it. 150mgs is the most recent I took and on a cd12 scan I had 4 larger follicles around 11mm each, but another scan on cd15 only had one dominant follicle 21mm.
I o'd from that on Wednesday, so I hoping all BD timing was good and I'm on my first ever tww.

Good luck to all you girls, and hope to head the others on their tww got the elusive bfp?

Hi Ava2602! How is your 2ww going? Have you had any blood tests yet? I am on day 24 of this cycle after taking 50mg of clomid, but still havent ovulated, so the specialist has cancelled this cycle. Next cycle she wants me to take 100mg clomid. My levels raised a bit this cycle but not enough so hopefully they do on this new dose. Its annoying when they are still figuring out how much to give you and what will work. I'm glad it seems they have figured out what works for you! Hopefully you get your BFP soon

Default TTC bub #1 but PCOS making it difficult- 1st round of Clomid

It's going slow! Slow slow slow. And I'm reading into everything my body is doing, which isn't much!
I haven't had a blood test after ovulation, my FS just said either ill get AF or be pregnant and didn't ask for another blood test, should I request one though?
My last blood test was after a scan and to confirm o was just about to happen. Since that my bbt has been high and nipples sore, which is my normal o signs, from the few times I've o'd anyway.
On 100 mgs I didn't o until cd35. I was meant to take primolut to induce af after cd21, and start 150mgs, but it was around Xmas and I just wanted a rest.
50 mg did nothing for me too and yeah you just have to go through the motions. I think since you had a slight reaction to 50mgs then 100 or 150 should do the trick.
150 wasn't easy, I got most side effects where I didn't with the other doses, but it's liveable, most worrying thing was I had no cm! I did use preseed, and hope that helped!

    hi lovelies.
    No BFP to report sadly.
I got AF on day after CD30. So I've had a 33 day and a 30 day cycle on Clomid. O day didn't change - my LP just got a bit shorter.
I'm worried the Clomid is stuffing around with my lining already because AF was 2.5 days long, very light and mostly light brown.

I started drinking red raspberry leaf tea and upped my b6 intake so hopefully I can work on a nice thick lining for implantation and fingers crossing for this month.

On CD7 today and took 3rd Clomid tab tonight. I switched to take them at night to hopefully avoid the hot flushes and nausea but instead I think I get insomnia!!!

Hi Nirok, better luck this time hey. What dose of clomid are you on?
When you o'd last time, did you get scans to try and pin point the days o might take place?

I'm 8dpo, and no signs or anything out of the ordinary! My brain is already moving on but I've got my fingers and toes crossed.

    Hi!

Nirok - Sorry to hear about no BFP yet. Hopefully this cycle will be the one. I take my clomid at night to. Last time I had indigestion 24hrs a day so it didn't matter what time I took it! I started taking some liquid chloraphyll (which is lots of the good stuff in green vegetables in liquid form) helped so much with the indigestion and stopped some of the hot flushes to. I also have been having really light periods, but i think thats just cause i havent ovulated. I use to have really heavy ones, but I don't think it was in a good way. Have you had many symptoms besides the insomnia this time?

Ava2602 - I don't think you have to have a blood test after ovulation. I automatically get one 7dpo and then if the numbers are good 10dpo. But thats also to check if I have ovulated and if I have enough progesterone. I think they keep doing a lot of blood tests for me as they haven't been able to make me have a good cycle with ovulation yet.

I'm set to start 100mg clomid tonight. Hopefully it does the trick without the side effects!

Twinkley and Andirantandrave - how have you been going?

Default TTC bub #1 but PCOS making it difficult- 1st round of Clomid

They called me in for a blood test yesterday at 9dpo, to check my levels. Got a call in the afternoon and they said it all looks good, progesterone was 63, which I know if high but is no indication of pregnancy. My hcg was under 5, so that was negative. I know it was too early for a positive.
How is everyone else getting on?
