DD is petfied of her hobby horse. I'm not sure why but we have put him away until she is comfortable to play with him. I think its the 'NEEEEEIIIIIGGGGHHH BRRRRRR' noise that frightened her. She loved him while he clip clopped, but once the neigh came along that was it. She didn't want that toy.

Dd is scared of quite a lot of things but a strange one is the kids show Timmy time. She say she doesnt like the owl on there but she doesnt have any issues with owls in general. She also has a Spot book and she is afraid of one of the stories becasue she doesnt like how the cat looks. She used to like reading it but now always tells me not to.

OMG what isn't DD#2 (9yrs) afraid of. That would be the easier question! I was reading this thread and just agreeing with almost everyone when it come to DD#2.

Oh, but not just blow flies, even normal flies - We had a fly in our house the other day and she SCREAMED. I thought she had hurt herself and went running to her. Only to see her put her hands over her head and duck when the fly came back near us!

All insects or lizards and even butterflies
    Dogs, cats, birds, rabbits, anything

And yep, the vaccum. She doesn't mind the little cordless one I have but when I put out the proper one she will go hide in her room. When I do her room I have to turn it off so she can go hide somewhere else. Its something to do with the pitch of the noise. But when she was younger I just had to pull it out of the cupboard and she would freak out.

Basically if it moves then she is scared of it even now. She is better now than she used to be thank goodness. Poor DD#1 had an ernie toy that sang and spoke and we had to get rid of it. It frightened her like you wouldn't believe. Even if DD#1 didn't have it turned on because she knew it could make noises. Same with a ruddolph and santa singing christmas decoration we had.

She is scared of Santa but likes to get in the Santa photo's with her sisters and cousin. But only if her cousin is with us. No one is allowed to say Ho Ho Ho. She cried at DH for saying it last year because its scary.

And I just thought I would add the funny thing that scared me the other day. I do cleaning and I'm all by myself then suddenly I hear this weird almost darth vader type breathing and jumped!! Then it was like a sigh and more breathing. Freaked me out. Then I realised it was the doll in the pram I had just moved! LOL
