I rang when i was getting painless 3min contx, they said i wasnt in labour but go in if they got worse. That night my 3min contx started to hurt so i stayed at home in the bath until i felt like throwing up. Vomiting can be a sign that you are about to push (2nd stage), so i went to hospital (i lived 15km/10min away). Bub was born 1.5hrs later.

Default Re: I think I'm having a baby today. When do I call the hospital?

Like pps have said call the hospital, they were really good with me last time, giving me strategies to try to stay at home as long as poss. They could tell from talking to me that I wasn't ready to come in yet, and we called a couple times over a 12 hr + period. Then I got to the stage where I knew I wanted to get in as it was a 20km drive and I didn't fancy being stuck in traffic in the state I was in, and it was getting intense. Good luck!

Default I think I'm having a baby today. When do I call the hospital?

So my daughter was born yesterday at 5:12pm after only an hour of getting to the hospital! I pushed for less than 10 minutes!
