Default Was your 2nd labour/delivery different to first

My second was ten years after my first! Natural labour, no drugs. Only about three hours long but posterior (as was my first but first was induced). Pushed for 45 mins before bub turned and was born about 15 min later. My second was much shorter and better without a synto drip!

Different, yes. My 2ND bub was about an extra hour long from 1st contraction, and he was postior! But in regards to the pushing stage he just fell out of a contraction I had.. Tbh I just felt like I wanted to fart lol but instead he crowned! Next push he was out, so second stage is allot faster with the next child but 1st stage anyone guess... Mind you my 3Rd was born within 30 mins of having very mild cramp then about 5 contractions running into each other and out she came! Oops...

First was 4 days over due, 6 hour labour, natural with epidural. 9 pound 3 baby and 3rd deg tear, 30 min of pushing. Had to stay in hospital for 3 days and hated it!

Second was 2 days over due, 3.5 hour labour, natural - no drugs. Nearly 9 pound, tiny tear, no stitches, 3 pushes total. Went home 12 hours later.

The second was intense but amazing. I knew what I was in for so i worked through the pain a lot better. i felt totally in control the whole time.

#1, 8 wks Irritable uterus before birth. 22hr labour (inc 3.5hrs pushing) got to hospy after 13hrs and was only 2-3cm, episiotomy, 4th degree tears, surgery under GA for 2hrs afterwards to repair the tears. Bub was 9pd 11.5oz, 36cm HC, 53cm L

#2 Woke up and went into silent labour (was getting 3min contx but they werent painful). Did normal stuff around the house until 8pm when they started to hurt. I stayed at home for 1.5hrs until i felt we should go to the hospital, arrived at 930pm and was 4cm and 50%effaced. Laboured quietly, waters broke an hour later (1030pm), started pushing at 1045pm, breathed bub out at 1104pm (total 3hrs labour).Bub was compound presentation (hand to head, well he had hand on mouth) so i got 2nd degree tears, 8 stitches. Bub was 9pd9.5oz, 37.5cm HC, 52cm L.

#1- induced at 40+5. Stayed at 2-3cm dilated for 7 hrs despite having 5 minute contractions the whole time.
Took another 12 hrs to finally dilate, then had almost 3.5hrs of pushing before having a vacuum extraction and a severe shoulder dystocia. She was 9 pound.
#2- induced at 38+4 due to 1st birth.
Had gel overnight and ARM in the morning. Contractions started within half an hour, after an hour or so I had an epidural, waited to dilate (it took about 6hrs) and then had 10 minutes of pushing - 4 contractions until DD2 was born. She was 6 pound 13 ounces. Dream labour after my first...

Mine was much harder and an hour longer at 14 hours. He was much bigger at 9.5 pnds and had a huge head but I had 24 hrs prelabour, he came crooked so I got stuck at 8 cm and I'd wanted a water birth and had to get out. It hurt more, I eS tired, and out of my mind with pain. None of this happened first time. Thus time I'm trying Calmbirth as I was so sacred to do it again.
