Um, lovemyfam, Ex is filing tax returns. I never said he wasn't.

And yes, he is working under an ABN in his own name. I looked him up on the public ABN register online and there he was.

He is doing the wrong thing. Plain and simple. He is using every tactic to avoid helping out financially with his only child. I will do whatever it takes to stop him shirking his responsibilities and leaving everything to me.

loumia - I would call the CSA and find out why she doesn't have to pay now! Her circumstances have changed and she is earning now, so she is probably liable.

This is what I'm hoping for

He is dodging CSA repeatedly and everything he owns is in his brother or fathers name. CSA told me that if I lodge the assessment application using reason 8 that gives them a lot more power and investigate a lot deeper into the avoidant parents finances.

It sounded like he wasnt filing taxes, sorry. So if he is filing taxes he should be racking up a debt. When he gets his tax return the whole thing he owes will come straight to you.

I hope you manage to get the outcome you want, but based on my story even if you get a change of notice awarded, if he is working for himself and has no wage coming in they cannot take the money out of his account without his permission.
My ex and I had a change of assessment based on special needs, it was set at 150 a week and after much debating I agreed to 60 a week. He still isn't paying and the debt keeps going up, but because he has no actual wage coming in they say there is not a way to get the money.
